VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Multiple volunteer opportunities are available for people with varying interests. These include:
​
  • Helping plan, organize and publicize our cultural, educational and recreational events, such as nature walks and summer concert series
​
  • Planting and gardening -- help with  our ongoing garden and arborist projects at the park. No experience necessary; will train
  • Historical research -- help us expand our ever growing historical archive of the 102-year-old Springside Park and the former Elmhurst estate
​
  • Trail monitoring and enhancement -- explore the park's 237 acres and report on issues such as downed trees, fire pits, and other potential problems. Assist in repair and improvement of the trails and recreational areas
​​
  • Invasive species removal.
​
